Besides their weekly open mic nights, School Of Rock also organises other events like acoustic nights. This night they organised one at the new venue Drift in the City. DITC is the sister bar of the award winning Drift Bar in Southsea. I haven't been there, but if it's as good as the DITC bar i should definitely check it out. DITC apparently provides a lot of live music nights, so today probably won't be the last time i'll spend the night there.
For only 3 quid i got to see 8 great live acts, each with their own style of playing. If you're interested, the ones who played that night were Jonny Bell, Myles, Zaki & Nasbi, Andy, LAG, Rob Warman & Friends, Joe J-Tech and Adam Gardiner. It's definitely worth checking them out. I had a great night and i hope the next one will be organised soon!
