| Burni's fridge |
Today was the birthday of one of my awesome German colleagues, Burni! Therefore i was invited to their awesome house for an awesome birthday party. I was their first guest and because of that i got the honour to taste the first self-made awesome snacks (as you can see on the picture, made by mister Awesome himself). They were delicious! Soon the place got filled up and i felt surrounded by German people. It was a good opportunity to use my German skills :) well, the little ones i have at least. Luckily they were so nice to speak English and soon other nationalities entered the awesome house. When everyone arrived it was time to give Burni his birthday presents. He actually got a guitar for his birthday, which is reeally awesome while he's also taking guitar lessons at the School of Rock. A perfect present for a rocking guy like him.
Later on, when everyone was in the mood (after some drinks), Julian (Burni's awesome housemate) set up a special program that looked like Singstar but with all the songs you want and with wireless microphones. So awesome. At first only a few people were singing but soon that changed into the whole room singing along. At the end our guitar teacher also dropped by. I thought it would be good cause then we wouldn't be the only ones being tired and probably arriving way too late at the guitar lessons, so it wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately i didn't have much sleep during the week as well because of a stupid presentation and some other school work, so i missed my lessons. I dropped by afterwards (3 hours later) to at least say hi, but he was still "disappointed" in me. Dammit :) Next time we have to get him drunk ;)
