Every Thursday the School of Rock runs an open mic night at the Nell Gwynne, a pub at Jessie Road (Southsea). It's a small but cosy pub, i loved being there. It's nice to just sit there, drink a pint and listen to live music. Anyone who wants can go up on stage and play and/or sing something. If you do that, the school of rock buys you a drink ;) it's a good experience for people who never played for a crowd before and a nice one for people who just love to jam.
The music was really great, especially when i heard songs where i could sing along like Wonderwall (Oasis) and Save Tonight (Eagle-Eye Cherry). It was so great that i almost forgot to take a picture, so unfortunately i only have this one which isn't very clear. But it doesn't matter, just check it out sometime ;)
