I think it's useful to tell you (well especially the future Erasmus students) a bit about the free University Bus. That's right, it's free so you don't have to pay for a bus every day to go to school if you don't live close to it. Well, not always...
Sometimes - at peak hours almost always - the bus is soo full that it just drives by, so you're forced to walk or take a normal bus (which costs from my place, the bus stop at the Lidl, around £1,35)
When you're searching for an apartment and it's not close to the University, make sure it's close to an Uni bus stop ;)
