Delicious food & great company |
For once i had the opportunity to celebrate NYE in some place else than Belgium. So i left Belgium again, after spending my Christmas there and seeing my friends & family again, and went back to Portsmouth. I first went out to diner with Greg and a couple of Erasmus students who were also staying in Portsmouth for New Years Eve. We went to a tapas restaurant called La Tasca, which was nice except for the service. As you can see on the picture it is a cosy restaurant and together with the champagne we ordered it had the perfect atmosphere for a New Year's Eve dinner.
After the dinner, Greg and I went to the Wedgewood Rooms to see two cover bands. One was called The Silver Beatles (after The Beatles of course) and the other one was called The Bog Rolling Stones (after, that's right, The Rolling Stones! yeaaaah). It was a rocking New Year! And at midnight they showed London live on a big screen. A LOT of people were standing next to the Big Ben, counting down. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Happy New Year!! *kiss*
